| Bio: | "My first drum memories were watching the older guys play drums in church, " recalls Marcus Randolph, now the anchor and pop behind cousin Robert's infectious steel. Marcus says, in a December 2006 Drum Magazine article, "Learn how to take critism. Learn how to deal with people telling you you can't do something. You need to brush that stuff off and not let other people tell you what you can and can't do. I thought for sure that I would never get this far on the drums. I would always see players who were better than me and they would try to put me down in a certain kind of way, without saying it directly. So if someone puts you down, just brush it off and keep going for what you want to go for. If you want to play drums, keep playing drums."
